Samantha Williams

Samantha started with in interest in psychology while studying it college and then following this, started on the undergraduate psychology course at Huddersfield university. While there she was involved in some collaborative research alongside a university in Northern Ireland which focused the covid-19 vaccine uptake during the pandemic. This heightened her interest in pursuing further psychological study and pursuing a psychological career with a strong research aspect. While at university Samantha also volunteered for a crisis support line (Shout) which furthered her interest in supporting mental health and wellbeing with a key focus on children and young people. Samantha then graduated with a BSc in psychology in 2021. After this she obtained a role as a learning mentor in a secondary school supporting with pastoral and learning needs through 1-1 intervention and whole school approaches.
