Meet the team

Our 'Meet the Team' event is an informal opportunity to meet and talk to the Catalyst Psychology team, including experienced and recently qualified Educational Psychologists; Assistant Psychologists, and our Partner (self-employed) Psychologists.

We would particularly like to welcome those interested in applying for a job with us in the future, including practising child and educational psychologists, graduate psychologists and  trainee educational psychologists. We will be advertising an educational psychologist vacancy before the end of October.

Event timetable

2.45: Refreshments and networking

3.15 - 4.15: a short presentation about Catalyst Psychology and how we are providing child and educational psychology services in the Manchester area. There will then be an opportunity to circulate and meet team members, ask questions, or just get a feel for how we work.

4.30 - 5.30: informal drop in for those unable to attend the earlier presentation

Please RSVP via the contact form below if you wish to attend. Alternatively, you can email Teresa Regan, Principal Educational Psychologist: [email protected]

The Old Parsonage is managed by a charitable trust and there are travel directions on the website for The Didsbury Parsonage Trust (http://didsburyparsonagetrust.org.uk)

By public transport

From the South, you can leave the train at Stockport station and take a taxi or bus to Didsbury village. The bus station is a short way down the road from the train station, about 5 minutes walk.

A taxi costs around £10 to Didsbury.

From other directions, if travelling to Manchester Piccadilly, there is a connection to East Didsbury station. There are 2 trains per hour. East Didsbury station is just outside the village, close to Parrs Wood entertainment complex, and about 10 minutes walk from The Old Parsonage.

A taxi from Manchester Piccadilly will cost around £15.

Alternatively take the tram: our office is equidistant between Didsbury Village or Eat Didsbury tram stops, about 15 - 20 minutes walk.

Buses from Manchester and from Stockport stop close to The Parsonage on Wilmslow Road. Look out for Fletcher Moss Gardens as the place to alight.

By car

Stenner Lane is off Wilmslow Road (A5145) between Kingsway (A34) and Didsbury village. If driving from the A34, you need to drive towards Didsbury village and Stenner Lane is on the left hand side, shortly before reaching the village.

There are 2 pubs and a small restaurant near to the Parsonage Gardens. Parking is behind The Didsbury pub in a large public car park, costs are £2 for 3 hours. There is some on street parking next to St James’ Church. Parking on local streets (5 to 10 minutes walk) is also free of charge, but these tend to be busy during the day.
