Schools and other settings can now complete their booking forms for services to be commissioned from 1st April 2016 through to 31st March 2017.
Our model of delivery is as follows:
- All schools have a named link psychologist who is an experienced senior-level educational psychologist. The senior link psychologist is responsible for planning meetings with schools, agreeing and prioritising work, undertaking direct work for referred pupils and/or directly supervising the work of trainee/newly qualified psychologists, as appropriate and through agreement with school SENCOs. The senior link psychologist is responsible for quality assuring the work delivered within their family of schools.
- Commissioned time may be used for direct work in relation to pupils and their families; group and individual interventions, training, development work with staff and so on. Most of our interventions are delivered by our assistant psychologist, working under supervision; training is delivered by all members of our team depending on the particular aspect required.
- This range of work may be delivered at the individual school level or flexibly across a group of schools. All of our interventions and training opportunities are offered with a "within contract" price or a "pay as you go" price. This means that schools can, as they wish, build up their own bespoke pattern of delivery as a "mosaic" encompassing the full range of work on offer.
