Lucy Rawcliffe

Director 

Lucy became a Director of Catalyst Psychology in 2023. She brings to the role a passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged children and young people alongside a strong mathematical background, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent organisational abilities.

Lucy was born and brought up in Manchester and attended local schools. She completed her undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, followed by PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. Lucy has 12 years’ experience as a Maths teacher in a sixth form college and has developed her leadership skills by introducing and coordinating the Core Maths course in college since 2019. Her 6 years as a workplace rep for the National Education Union provided her with experience in negotiation, knowledge of employment legislation, and strong communication abilities. Lucy supports young people completing the Duke of Edinburgh Award on day walks and expeditions and is currently working towards her Hill and Moorland Leader Qualification.
