SENCO Network

Please join us on Tuesday 5th December for our Christmas SENCO Network.

Start time is 1.30pm and we will finish at 3.30. Seasonal refreshments (including home-made mince pies) will be available!

Christmas and the New Year offer a time for reflection and forward planning. Our Network at this time of the year provides an opportunity to think about what is working well for you and where you would like to develop your thinking or practice further. This provides the inspiration for our annual service offer to schools which we develop during the Spring Term.

As many SENCOs grapple with the ongoing challenge of how best to manage provision for children with additional needs in a context of increasing complexity together with declining resources, we will be thinking together about what “Inclusion” means for 21st Century children in our schools.

With this in mind, we are pleased to welcome Clare and Kate from the Inclusion Team at The Willows Primary School in Wythenshawe who have kindly agreed to talk about their “Beehive” class – one solution that is working for their children.

There will be the usual mix of time for discussion, sharing of concerns, ideas and resources, together with local and national news and updates.

We hope you can make it!
